Schools must “fully inform” parents about the details of all events, activities, programs and medical issues.
Parents are in charge, not the schools.
Provide parental opt-out forms must be made available for parents/students.

I will advocate for parental rights such as fostering an environment which encourages parental participation, listen compassionately and let's get things done!!

The reasons schools were and are created is to pass on knowledge, skills, values and teachers are necessary to accomplish that. Now more than ever teachers need support and a voice on the board. I will be that voice so they can focus on teaching.

According to the Auditor General's Office:

$33.5 million unspent bond and COVID funds
50% of the 2024 AZ State budget is allocated to instruction
$165 million 2024 bond earmarked for buildings not instruction
projected enrollment declines of about 1,250 students despite signifcant population growth within Arizona

As a fiscal conservative and parent of a special needs son, I understand the necessity of getting the most out of every dollar to address each student’s needs. I will keep a tight rein on the dollars in the budget to ensure spending addresses all student achievement levels.
